Happy New Years Eve. I hope you liked my little essay a la Alex. I felt creative today so I wrote a few stories. go to the Reading section and read my wonderful works of art you bastards!! well, not really. only read them if you want to. and if you DO read them, sign my guestbook and tell me what you think of them.

Such a big deal is made of "the new year"... they say you can start over, be a new person. since when does the change of one number (2003 turns to 2004) mean that people become reborn and purified? And since when is anyone ever reborn or purified in the space of one day???

it's humiliating, watching the hundreds of thousands of americans in Times Square, dressed in rediculous glitter hats and crazy sunglasses, gathering around a silver ball waiting for some confetti to drop.

couldn't these fools be out doing something productive? children are starving in the middle east while good ol' pure blood american patriots follow through with the yearly tradition of guzzling champagne and swaggering about, exploding those unpleasant little noise popper things!

and blow horns? and yelling? and singing? WHY? not because they're celebrating a renewal, and meaningful cleansing, starting over, but because they're drunk. oooh and how pleasant it is to drink new years eve away, and wake up and celebrate the first day of a new year with a hang over!

fire works? who cares??? how about this year, before you light the fire works, you shove them up your ass.

the most typical new years resolutions are, "i will quit smoking," "i will be a good citizen," "i will lose weight," "i will shut down my meth lab".... oh come on. give me a break. does anyone EVER keep their new years resolutions? anyone??? here are some new years resolutions people should make, at least these will save the "well, i was GOING to get off my lazy bum and lose those fat rolls in my arms so people stop confusing me for the Michelin Man" part that has been a key ingredient of American resolutions for centuries. in other words, here are some resolutions you may actually be able to keep:
-eat mcdonalds
-vomit on someone in a public place
-steal something
-get rid of those pesky friends of yours! (unless they are Canadian)
-when your teacher asks "where's your homework?" you reply "up your ass and around the corner, you fucking Jew"
-drop out of school
-blow money on hookers and your newly-born crack addiction

well, i know i'll be up until midnight tonight, sitting in my short glittery go-go skirt, with blow horn in hand... alone on the couch... just counting down until 12, when it will be a new year, and everyone will see me as a new person. and no one will judge me. and i will be prettier, and smarter, and more fashionable! ooh la la!....

or maybe i'll be the same person i was at 11:59.
..... nah.

hey! it's wednesday... so, i switched to this from xanga.... why, you ask? i simply saw that my good friend Jamie Sato had switched, and seeing as she is asian, i thought it was best i follow her example. blah blah blah! im talking to alex. i took two showers today. i love showers. i also watched romeo and juliet, and like the whole first season of south park : ) i didnt leave the house today. man i love days like this. late
